#NATO summit 2016 in Warsaw

Warsaw Summit 2016 (Eng. 2016 Warsaw summit) – planned for the 27th Summit of Heads of State and Heads of Government of member countries of NATO, which should go from 8 to 9 July 2016 in Warsaw.

This is the first NATO summit to be held in Poland.

In the context of the planned summit plans to discuss a number of important issues, including those related to events in Ukraine.

While visiting international military exercises at the site near the city in the summer of 2015 Polish Defense Minister Tomasz Siemoniak said that Ukraine should be one of the major topics at the summit .

Also discussed a possible enlargement. As says Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu of Turkey on joining the Alliance discusses the four candidate countries,  Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Georgia .

In addition, according to deputy head of the office of the US Department of State for European and Eurasian John Heffernna summit in Poland is planned to announce the interim operational capability NATO missile defense system .

Other topics for discussion can also be developments in the Middle East, including the main of which is the fight against international terrorism.

The summit is expected presentation of the Strategic Defense Bulletin of Ukraine .
